Dr. Mastin is a native of Tulsa and a graduate of Jenks High School. He was born and raised in Tulsa and knows the community well.

Upon completion of high school he attended the University of Oklahoma where he completed his pre-dental studies as well as received a Bachelor in Business Administration.

Following college, Dr. Mastin completed his dental degree graduating with honors from the University of Oklahoma college of Dentistry. Dr. Mastin knew he wanted to specialize in oral surgery early after receiving corrective jaw surgery as an adolescent. The education he received helped reinforce that desire while in dental school.

Dr. Mastin completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the largest training institution on the west coast, as well as one of the largest in the United States. He graduated from the University of Southern California / Los Angeles County Medical Center in 2008. This institution serviced over 10 million people in Los Angeles County and provided Dr. Mastin with a diverse and complete exposure to all aspect of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Mastin met his wife, Jennifer, while in dental school and they were married during his residency. He and his wife have one child, Ryan, who was born while in California. Dr. Mastin's other activities include helping his wife raise their son, golf, wakeboarding, jet skiing and spending time with friends.
